Will this slow my site down?
No. The embed loads a still thumbnail first and only starts YouTube's player once a visitor clicks play, so your page weight stays tiny. You can turn that off if you prefer the player to load immediately.
Does it play as a playlist, not a single video?
Yes. Every layout keeps the whole playlist: the plain player uses YouTube's own queue, and the list and grid layouts play the next video automatically when one ends.
Do I need a YouTube account or channel?
Only if the playlist is yours. Any public playlist works — you just need its link.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. The player scales to its container, the video list stacks under the player on narrow screens, and the grid reflows.
Can it autoplay with sound?
Browsers block autoplay with sound. Autoplay only works muted, which is why muted autoplay is a separate switch.
Can I embed a private or unlisted playlist?
Unlisted playlists work if you have the link. Fully private playlists cannot be embedded anywhere — that's a YouTube rule.
What happens if I add videos to the playlist later?
New videos show up on your site automatically. The embed always reads the live playlist.
Can I change the design after pasting the code?
Yes. Paste the same playlist link back into the builder, restyle it, and replace the code — or keep the embed link and re-copy any time.
